Personal work. I decided to look at the art movement Art Nouveau and Decadent Art where it was popular for design to be based on exotic natural phenomena. Orchids and Peacocks best suited this description therefore I based my initial drawings on these. I then developed my designs by looking at William Morris and repeated pattern. I then produced a series of sample prints which were suitable for interior furnishings.
